Self Bank cambia de broker y depositario en bolsa europea
Porque toda cambio conlleva un poco de caos temporal, Self Bank ha anunciado que cambiará de bróker y depositario para operar en bolsas europeas. ¿El resultado? Una interrupción en la compra y venta de valores europeos del 21 al 27 de marzo de 2025.
¿Cómo afectará este cambio a los inversores?
Aunque la operativa en bolsa española y americana seguirá intacta (¡respiren aliviados, inversores de Wall Street!), en los mercados europeos la historia será diferente:
- 20 de marzo: Último día para operar con normalidad. A las 17:30, las posiciones quedarán bloqueadas y se cancelarán las órdenes pendientes.
- 21 de marzo: No se podrá operar en bolsas europeas. Tal vez se reanuden las compras, pero no contéis con ello al 100%.
- 22 y 23 de marzo: Fin de semana de traspaso al nuevo depositario.
- 24 al 27 de marzo: La venta de valores se restablecerá progresivamente hasta volver a la normalidad el día 27.
¿Qué implica esto para los clientes de Self Bank?
Además de un ejercicio de paciencia, los clientes deberán planificar bien sus movimientos en bolsa europea. Si necesitas liquidez en esas fechas o quieres ejecutar una estrategia, ten en cuenta que tu operativa podría verse afectada.
¿Por qué este cambio de depositario?
Según asegura Samuel Arenas, el director de clientes de Self Bank que la medida es para ofrecer un «mejor servicio». Lo que no especifica es qué mejoras concretas traerá este cambio, ni quién será el nuevo depositario. Pero confiemos en que la espera valdrá la pena… o al menos, en que todo volverá a la normalidad el 27 de marzo.
